Weekly Challenge #203: "UMT - Athitzi by Eleanor Holt"

Athitzi, by Seven, was the pattern for this weeks Diva Challenge. The first week in the month is a UMT (use my tangle) challenge. Athitzi is such a fun pattern using many short lines.

Fun, fun, fun. If you haven't tried athitzi, give it a go.
Also check out other peoples use of athitzi by clicking on the links at the bottom of the page on the Diva's blog.

Weekly Challenge #161: "In a Quandary about Quandary"

This week The Diva challenged us to try our hand at quandry. This has got to be one of the most challenging patterns the master. Knowing this is one I have practiced before, I took the plunge and went straight to a tile.

I started with quandry in on of the sections of the tile I had created with my string. From there it just morphed into a border around the outside of the tile. I rather like quandry as a border and had not used it in this way before. Although I still don't feel I have mastered quandry, I do like what I came up with.

Thank you to the Diva for setting such a challenging challenge. I will continue to hone my skills with quandry.

Until next time. Happy tangling everyone.
