Weekly Challenge #185: DuoTangle - Phicops vs DivaDance

This weeks challenge by the diva was a duo tangle using the two patterns phicops and diva dance. Phicops is a tangle I had not tried before but I found it really fun to draw.

After finishing my tile I was not completely happy. To me it lacked life.
Here is my completed tile.

To add more life to my tile I decided to add some colour. I am really happy with the way it turned out & so much fun.

If you haven't already looked at the amazing results other people have come up with completing this challenge then go to the Diva's blog and check them out.

Diva Challenge #184 - "New Official Tangle: ING by Molly"

Wow! Another week has flown by but I managed to finish this weeks challenge by the Diva.

This week we were asked to try out the new Zentangle pattern 'ing'. This is a pattern I can see myself using over and over again. 'Ing' is so versatile, so in creating my tile this week I show three variations.

I hope you enjoy using 'ing' as much as I do.

Until next time, happy tangling.

Zentangle meets Salt

What does salt have to do with Zentangle?

Great question. Who would have thought these two things would make a great combination.

I have recently begun teaching Zentangle classes in a salt therapy room.

Salt therapy has apparently been used as a natural therapy dating back to medieval times. It improves respiratory and skin conditions as well as cleansing the body of toxins and improving general health and wellbeing. To learn more about the benefits of salt therapy and how a salt room works visit
The Salt Spot.

Participants sit comfortably in a relaxing salt room, and enjoy the experience of a Zentangle class whilst also benefiting from salt therapy. The combined effects of Zentangle & salt therapy improves both mental as well as physical wellbeing. Such a unique experience.

The classes are run monthly.

Weekly Challenge #183: "UMT - X-Did"

This week the Diva challenged us to use Annette Carlo's tangle pattern 'x-did'. Such a versatile and fun pattern to use.

I decided to use 'x-did' within a grid to explore what this would look like.

Here is my tile.

If you haven't already checked out the versatility of 'x-did' then go to the Diva's page and click on the links to see how other people, who have also completed the challenge, have used 'x-did' when tangling.

Have a great week everyone and happy tangling.
