Weekly Challenge #265: "Stripes"

Stripes are the theme for this weeks challenge by CZT Laura Harms. Which tangles to choose to create the stripes was a bit of a dilemma as so many can be used to create the striped look. I also wanted to do something that would be a little different to what I believed other Zentangle enthusiasts would possibly do for this challenge. So waited for some inspiration to come to mind.

Waking up at 2am last night the light in my head went on and so I turned on my light and began tangling.

I began with drawing my stripe string and then added a number of various sized 'S' lines, through the string lines to add a little interest. This was the inspiration that woke me at 2am in the morning.

Once the foundations were drawn I was able to turn off the light in my head & the light in my bedroom & go back to sleep.

During a coffee break today I started tangling my tile. Cresent moon stuck in my head & so four of the separate areas on the tile have cresent moon tangleations. This is one of the great things I love about Zentangle - just go with the flow. Tidings, using the 'S' line completed my tile.
