Weekly Challenge #306: UMT Amphora by ZenLilyMoon

"Use My Tangle" (UMT). A great challenge, by Laura Harms, to try a tangle you have not used before. This weeks challenge is to use the tangle Amphora by ZenLillyMoon. This is a tangle I have not used before.

Amphora is a lovely curvy tangle and simple to draw. It only takes three steps.

Tangles: Amphora, printemps, tipple & purk

The Diva's blog is a great place to check out how other people have responded to this challenge.

  1. OK, this is genius. I'm always worried about the pattern I choose for the background being too busy. You've used that dark brown aura to really separate the amphora and lightened up the printemps to de-emphasize them. The result is perfection.

  5. Gorgeous tile! I adore the layering you achieved with your selected tangles. All are so wonderfully drawn and shaded. Using Amphora as a circle border was a great idea and is so lovely!
