Muster Mixer #20 - Trimonds & Telis

Trimonds by CZT Jane Monk & Telis by Chrissie Frampton are the two tangles Anya challenged us to mix together to create our art this month.

When this challenge was published I did not think I would have time to draw as a lot has been happening here at home and with school holidays on I was booked up with lots of children's Zentangle classes. Whilst in transit to a class one day I became caught in a major traffic jam and all traffic came to a stand still. So after contacting the library where the class was to be held to alert them to my situation I began to tangle to pass the time. During the 2 hours it took for traffic to begin moving again I was able to complete a tile for this challenge.

Tangles: trimonds & telis

Unfortunately I found out later that the traffic jam was caused the very strong winds which caused a tree to fall on a ute & the driver had died at the scene. I feel deep sympathy for the driver's family and having to deal with this kind of unexpected death.

If you are looking to add to your Zentangle creativity then having a go at Anya's mixer challenges once a month are a great idea. And best of all, if you want you can share your ideas with other people who love the challenge by using the linky machine, or not, or just enjoy watching your Zentangle tiles take on a whole new creative life.

  1. Wow. Such straight lines that you dare to have a background of a grid!
    Beautiful work.
