Muster Mixer Challenge #15

Well, Anya said this one would not be easy, and she was right.

In the Muster Mixer this month Anya challenged us to mix the tangle patterns fungees and eddyper together. Out with my trustee tangle journal and starting with a practice of both tangles as they were both new to me. Then after looking at the different elements of both tangles I began to experiment with ways they could be blended together. It took quite some while before I came up with a blend/mix I thought I could work with.

I so enjoy these challenges Anya puts together for us. Although they take me away from the pure Zentangle process they are good for my creativity and problem solving capabilities. Through these mixers  I have noticed the ideas I explore, whilst doing  the muster mixer, start to appear in my Zentangle tiles and have added to create more interesting and different tiles.

If you are looking to add to your Zentangle creativity then having a go at Anya's mixer challenges once a month are a great idea. And best of all, if you want you can share your ideas with other people who love the challenge by using the linky machine, or not, or just enjoy watching your Zentangle tiles take on a whole new creative life.
