This is a simple grid based pattern. I attended the CZT seminar in Providence RI in November 2013. I then spent a week in New York city. My accommodation was at the YMCA West side.
On the floor outside of the women's shower was this pattern. Naturally I took a photo of this and now, finally here is the step out for this pattern.
I called it 'YNY' as a reminder of my trip to America and staying at the YMCA in New York.
You can also see a couple of variations for YNY on this step out page.
I would love to see what you can do with YNY and hope you would be kind enough to share some of your creative examples with me.
Happy tangling!

Really like this one, it will fit in heaps of spots! I did it "as is" first and then I warped it as a background and it just looks so effective. Yay for another Aussie CZT too !
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind comments Sue.
DeleteThis is a great one! I can remember when I started, feeling the same way as you - totally devoid of any flowing drawing skills - so I used straight lines to minimize everyone else's awareness of my lack. haha This will help newbies greatly, and for us further along the line of self-confidence, we can mix this in with other flowing curly patterns as we see fit. Thanks for stepping up with this one! NancyB
